We are looking for a passionate, process-driven Senior Contracts Administrator with the skills to collaborate across disciplines, lead critical transformational projects, and help build a "center of excellence" for public sector contracting. Your contribution will help Everlaw continue to scale its growing public sector business.

This is a full-time exempt position based in our Washington D.C. office with a hybrid work schedule: in office M/W/Th with the option to work from home Tu/Fr.

Getting started

  • We want you to feel like part of the team early on! Our onboarding process will integrate you into the company with informative sessions on our product, policies, processes, and team structure and goals.
  • We’re excited for you to learn, grow, and contribute right away! We trust that you’ll bring experience and knowledge that will uplift and uplevel the team, but we don’t expect you to know everything on Day 1.

In your role…

This role manages FED and SLED government contracts from creation to closeout, ensuring compliance with all contractual obligations. You will serve as the primary guardian of Everlaw’s General Services Administration (GSA) contract vehicles, managing acquisition, maintenance, and compliance, while supporting the award of other Master Service Agreements.

Beyond the paperwork, you will actively search and audit our current contracts to generate compliance reports and take care of all vendor registrations to ensure we are "ready to do business."

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic External Liaison & Relationship Management

  • Contracting Officer Engagement: Act as the primary, authoritative point of contact for Government Contracting Officers (COs) and Procurement Officers. You will navigate "government-speak" to resolve administrative bottlenecks and reduce Lead Time.
  • Deal Intelligence: Partner with Sales to attend meetings with government stakeholders, using your expertise to extract intelligence on upcoming solicitations and budget cycles.
  • Performance Advocacy: Proactively manage the CPARs (Contractor Performance Assessment Reporting System) process to ensure Everlaw maintains a stellar reputation, directly influencing our ability to win future business.

2. Contract Lifecycle & Vehicle Management

  • Vehicle Ownership: Lead the management of Everlaw’s GSA Multiple Award Schedule (MAS) and other Best-in-Class (BIC) vehicles.
  • Compliance Infrastructure: Execute eMods for price list updates, product additions, and administrative changes. Handle Industrial Funding Fee (IFF) and transactional data reporting with 100% accuracy.
  • Operational Readiness: Own SAM.gov and state-level registrations. Complete complex "reps & certs" and administrative onboarding for new agency customers to ensure zero friction at the point of award.

3. Internal Compliance & Risk Mitigation

  • The "Strategic Translator": Review government solicitations (RFIs/RFPs) and translate rigid regulatory frameworks (FAR, NAICS, CLIN structures) into actionable guidance for internal Sales and Legal teams.
  • Audit Rhythm: Maintain a proactive audit trail for all public sector contracts, tracking "Option Years" and price escalation clauses to prevent revenue leakage.
  • FedRAMP Support: Support the Legal and Security teams in maintaining compliance standards required for FedRAMP High authorization.

About You

  • You are a Public Sector Expert: You have at least 5 years of experience in contract administration, with deep knowledge of FAR and SLED procurement regulations.
  • You are a Relationship Builder: You are comfortable and confident being "customer-facing." You know how to talk to a CO to get a deal across the finish line.
  • You understand SaaS: You have experience applying government contracting principles to Software-as-a-Service commercial models.
  • You are an "Army of One": You are excited by the prospect of building a department from the ground up. You are equally comfortable with high-level strategy and the granular administrative work (filing, portal updates, reporting) that ensures success.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Law, or a related field.

Pluses

  • Knowledge of FedRAMP compliance requirements as they pertain to contract terms.
  • Experience processing invoices and managing financial data related to government contracts.
  • Experience speaking with Contracting Officers (FED) and Procurement Officers (SLED).
  • Knowledge of CJIS compliance requirements as they pertain to contract terms.
