Everlaw is seeking a Sales Development Representative that demonstrates our company values of attention to detail, setting your own bar and egoless communication!

As an Inbound Sales Development Representative, you will be instrumental in supporting our Sales team’s efforts to bring on new clients by effectively managing and qualifying incoming leads. You will learn fundamental skills valuable across modern sales and marketing roles within the software industry, becoming an expert in understanding the context of inbound interest, engaging prospects who have reached out to us, qualifying their needs, and delivering compelling reasons for them to meet with our Sales Team. Your primary focus is on providing a timely, memorable, and impactful first interaction for prospective Everlaw clients who signal high intent by requesting a product demonstration. You'll become adept at quickly qualifying these crucial leads. Beyond this core responsibility, you will dedicate time to directly supporting strategic sales and marketing campaigns through other value-add activities. This involves vital contributions such as managing lists, creating effective messaging snippets, and contributing to SDR briefing materials. No two days look the same and reps and leadership alike embody a commitment to bringing their authentic selves to work.

This is a full-time non-exempt position based in our Oakland, California office with a hybrid work schedule: in office M/W/Th with the option to work from home Tu/Fr.

Getting started

  • We want you to feel like part of the team early on! Our onboarding process will integrate you into the company with informative sessions on our product, policies, processes, and team structure and goals. 
  • We’re excited for you to learn, grow, and contribute right away! We trust that you’ll bring experience and knowledge that will uplift and uplevel the team, but we don’t expect you to know everything on Day 1

In your role, you’ll…

  • Gain a deeper understanding of Everlaw’s software and customers through training and experience, allowing you to better assess inbound lead fit and present Everlaw’s value effectively.
  • Develop an understanding of Everlaw sales tools (LinkedIn Navigator, Salesforce and Outreach) to manage and track lead activity.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, other SDRs, and Account Executives to ensure smooth lead handoffs and work effectively to qualify leads and book appointments.
  • Respond promptly and engagingly to inbound leads generated through various marketing channels (website, events, webinars, content downloads, etc.).
  • Qualify inbound prospects based on their needs, interest level, and alignment with Everlaw's ideal customer profile, educating them on Everlaw’s value proposition.
  • Develop a key understanding of the inbound lead funnel, qualification criteria, and your target objectives for converting interest into qualified opportunities.
  • Support impactful sales and marketing campaigns by managing event data, creating communication snippets in Outreach, assisting with SDR event briefs, sourcing information for direct mail, and driving event registrations.
  • Attend continuous training from our Sales Enablement Team.
  • Contribute to team growth and success by sharing insights from prospect interactions.

About you

  • You’re excited to begin a career in tech GTM and curious about emerging technologies.
  • You have exceptional oral and written communication skills that show enthusiasm, energy, clarity, and poise.
  • You possess strong active listening skills to quickly understand the context and needs of inbound prospects.
  • You are extremely motivated, organized, and adept at managing a pipeline of incoming leads effectively.
  • You find success through hard work, responsiveness, and are willing to roll up your sleeves and pitch in to help others achieve the team's end goals.
  • You are comfortable in a fast-paced environment that requires the ability to work independently and adaptively, anticipate and mitigate friction points, and take initiative to promptly resolve and learn from challenges.
  • You are authorized to work in the United States. Please note that at this time, Everlaw is not sponsoring U.S. employment visas for this role.

Pluses

  • You have at least one internship or  1+ years of experience in a role involving SaaS lead qualification, inbound sales development, customer service/support in a tech environment, or similar experience requiring timely response and engagement.
  • Experience using CRM (like Salesforce) and Sales Engagement tools (like Outreach) is a significant plus.
  • Industry experience (SaaS or eDiscovery) is a plus, but not required.

 Benefits

  • The expected On Target Earnings (OTE) for this role is $90,000, with an expected hourly rate of $28.12. The role's compensation is subject to change in the future.
