Learn more about Storybuilder

Storybuilder, Everlaw’s narrative building toolkit, allows review teams to seamlessly move between their review and post-review workflows. Learn more about Storybuilder by reading the Storybuilder help articles.

All Storybuilder capabilities and tools can be used via a single object called a Story. Three tools comprise Storybuilder: Timeline, Drafts, and Depositions. Read the Storybuilder Introduction help article.

Each document entry in the Story can be dated, labeled, and annotated with a description in the Timeline. It also features a useful Events view, allowing review teams to see documents in relation to a timeline of events in the case. Read the Story Timeline help article.

Documents in the Story can be used to build outlines using the Drafts tool. Common use cases for Drafts include creating deposition, argument, or case strategy outlines. Read the Drafts help article.

Deposition objects are created to prepare for, conduct, and summarize a deposition or other interview process, as well as view and annotate the resulting transcript. Read the Deposition preparation help article.

Depositions can be used to reference drafted thoughts, curate an exhibit list, chat colleagues, and create tasks. Read the During the Deposition help article.

After a deposition is complete, you can write a summary and review the transcript of the deposition, which will automatically link transcript text to marked exhibits. Read the Summary and Transcript View help article.
