Administrator Setup: Getting Started with Your First Request

Watch this 29-minute video to see a step-by-step example of how to set up a project for reviewing records in response to a public records request.

You'll learn how to:

  • Set user permissions

  • Set up codes (Everlaw’s version of tags) to mark responsiveness, exemption codes (displayed as redaction stamps) to explain withheld content, and persistent highlights to flag sensitive terms like personally identifiable information (PII).

  • Upload records

  • Add users to the project

Reviewer Tasks: Searching and Reviewing Records

You’ll learn how to:

  • Use codes (Everlaw’s version of tags) to help categorize records based on responsiveness and guide the next steps in the review process.
