One of the great things about my job is that I get to spend a lot of time with legal professionals in the field. One of the frustrating things, however, is watching them needlessly suffer through the experience of using ediscovery software that’s clunky, overpriced, and/or underpowered. Not only is there a better way, but you don’t have to wait until your next case to enjoy it!
Now, you may find that hard to believe. Depending on your experience with other providers, it might sound risky, expensive, and downright foolish. So please allow me to dispel a few of these myths for you:
Won’t I lose all of the work I’ve done on my current system?
Nope. We’ll happily take all of your existing ratings, codes, tags, notes, etc., and will map them to the corresponding features in Everlaw. When you log into Everlaw, you’ll be able to pick up right where you left off.
Won’t I waste a lot of valuable time making a switch mid-case?
We know your time is precious, so we keep the switching process as quick and easy as possible. Once you hand us the data, we handle all processing and ingestion into Everlaw and then notify you so you can simply log in and resume work. And Everlaw is so intuitive, you can get going without the need for extensive training!
Won’t I just end up paying for two platforms?
We’re confident you’ll end up preferring Everlaw, so we’re happy to offer the first month of hosting for free for any case you switch over. And, as always, this includes unlimited processing, production, training, support, and users—and no long-term contracts. That way, you can make sure it’s a good fit before cutting ties with your old system, and you can always change your mind without penalty.
If you’ve made a big investment in your current platform, perhaps including a long-term agreement, you’ll still find the economics of switching to be compelling. Everlaw is designed and built from scratch entirely by our team in Berkeley, so we can offer it at a price that is often less expensive than just the operating costs of a typical last-generation installation.
What’s the catch???
The catch is that you’ll need to be prepared to have your expectations raised, radically. Once you’ve experienced the Everlaw difference, you won’t want to go back. That’s it.
Are you unhappy with your current ediscovery software? Or just curious to try something else? Let us know, and we’ll happily introduce you to the Everlaw way!
