Designed for you: easy to use, fast, and always improving.
Experience the Everlaw difference.
Importing new data is as easy as dragging and dropping files directly from your desktop. We harness the latest in cloud technology to ensure your uploads are fast, even across large datasets. Upload a wide variety of supported data types—forensic image files, chats, audio/video files (we’ll transcribe them), you name it—and we’ll process them. All the essential processing steps are performed, from organizing data by custodian to choosing whether to image documents to deNISTing. Once on the platform, your data is fully searchable and the metadata is preserved.
Uploads with Everlaw are easy to accomplish, and users can initiate on their own, at any time of day, without the need to contact or rely on our support staff. Organization administrators can even upload pre-processed loadfile data from start to finish to their organization’s projects. Administrators can directly initiate processed document uploads through our tools, and complete processed document uploads that were initiated by users on individual projects.
Everlaw’s visual search is:
Easier to Use: Our color-coded, visual search interface makes it easy to build complex searches, even for beginners. Simply click in terms that search against the desired aspect of a document (like content or metadata) or review product (like codes and notes). You can also run more sophisticated queries, like wildcard, fuzzy, or proximity searches.
Faster: Our search is so fast that it returns results instantly, even across databases with millions of documents. Your search results will update at blink-speed with every change you make to your query.
Everlaw's full screen review window is a flexible layout that you can customize just how you want it, to support both the power user and the user who wants simplicity in their workflow. Your review tools are organized into tab groups on the right-hand side of the window in full screen mode, allowing you to easily view and apply codes while viewing the full document.
Everlaw can detect and translate more than 50 foreign languages, ranging from Albanian to Vietnamese. Translations are shown in place of the foreign text, allowing you to see them in context. By enabling reviewers to understand documents irrespective of language, you can improve review efficiency and ensure that only the most relevant documents are elevated for foreign-language review or certified translation.
With Everlaw, view an automatic transcript of suitable audio/video files directly in the review window as you listen to it in the native view. The transcript is fully searchable and integrated with predictive coding. You can take notes on particular timestamps throughout the transcript, navigating back to those notes later in your review. You can access notes with timestamps from the results table. You can even use custom hits to highlight particular text in your transcript.
Everlaw’s native viewer lets you review documents in their native format right in the browser. This spans everything from spreadsheets and videos to medical images and CAD files. Best of all, you can see these files without the need for plugins or the original software. When reviewing a spreadsheet, you can even see the formulas underlying cell outputs, graphs, highlights, and cell notes.
Any item can be securely shared through the in-platform messaging system. Reference documents, binders, searches, stories, and more, without emailing around sensitive information. Your messages are consolidated in one place, reducing the need to collate sources when preparing for court.
Folders, binders, documents, outlines, and chronologies can be acted on by multiple people simultaneously. It’s easy to review and organize your case together, and to ensure there aren’t multiple conflicting versions of the same document or outline.
Everlaw’s personalized homepage shows you everything that’s relevant to you in the case. All your searches, assignments, binders, and other work product are collected together, giving you a centralized location to jump back into existing workflows or launch new ones. Organize your personal dashboard just the way you’d like by creating folders that can store multiple cards, and share those folders with others as needed.
Organization administrators can create new databases, upload processed data, rename and suspend projects, track project sizes, and much more without needing to contact Everlaw Support. We’re here to help if you need it, but you may be happy to not need help at all.
Everlaw’s data visualizations for cases and teams help you gauge and improve review progress. Using case analytics, you can see the case size to help you predict costs and the timeline for discovery. You can also see review progress to ensure the pace of review is on track with deadlines. Team analytics include: (1) Reviewer accuracy, so you can identify training inconsistencies early on; (2) Reviewer pace, allowing you to make adjustments as needed to assignments and timelines; (3) Real-time reviewer activity, so you can better manage your teams; and (4) Reviewer consistency, which will help you identify and correct coding disparities.
Everlaw’s Data Visualizer allows any user to create interactive visualizations from any set of documents, bringing to life information about document dates, metadata, contents, formats, review activity, and predicted relevance. With Data Visualizer, explore documents at a glance without the need to review individual documents or create multiple searches. This is particularly useful in the context of early case assessment.
Let technology help you find the most relevant documents, faster. Our predictive coding system starts working the minute you review your first doc—no setup needed. Predictions will be ready once you’ve reviewed 200 documents, and will update continuously with ongoing review activity. It’s that simple. You can even build custom models in a matter of minutes to prepare for depositions, hearings, or the next phase of review.
Everlaw’s Search Term Report feature gives you the power to run multiple searches at once, across any part of your database. Each report is interactive and updates in real time so you can perform early case assessment (ECA), make informed staffing decisions more quickly, and triage review. And each report is shareable, making it easy to let your colleagues know what you’ve found.
Generate productions on Everlaw whenever you want. Our flexible protocol options let you produce documents the way you need, with endorsement stamping, customized bates numbering, and more. Protocols can be saved and reused, making production as easy as identifying the documents you want to produce and selecting the appropriate protocol. We produce all three of the most common load files (DAT, OPT, LFP) so you don’t have to worry about compatibility issues. Finally, flexible sharing options make it easy to deliver completed productions to the appropriate parties.
Don’t let mistakes of the past, or changes mid-case, trip up your work. With our production modification tool, easily claw back documents that have already been produced, or produce documents that were originally withheld as privileged. You can also re-run a production after modifying its configuration—modifying endorsement stamps or metadata fields—or produce an arbitrary subset of documents under a given configuration. Modifying a productions has never been simpler.
With Everlaw, you can easily redact not only text documents, but native spreadsheets as well. No need to image poorly formatted, unwieldy spreadsheets for production, or fear that redacted cells will be displayed to the opposing counsel. Redact as many cells as you’d like from the native view of a spreadsheet, down to the individual cell level, and have those changes reflected in a redacted near-native copy for production. While you're at it, create standardized or custom redaction stamps to note why particular content is redacted.
